Forget Me Not
What's that little blue flower
you've got in your lapel?
A forget me not.
Has somebody forgotten you?
I suppose they have.
Who are they?
Oh, just people.
Are people just?
I suppose they are.
You suppose a lot, don't you?
I suppose I do.
reads as innocent and sweet as a game of words children indulge in.
Jerry i like this! Our state flower is blue, but its not a forget me not...it is a blue bonnet. Great poem. Regards, Theo
