Torn and broken, shattered in pieces,
You weren’t there, my wounds deepen.
Self inflicted, pain manifestation,
My life’s a rainbow, devoured in darkness.
Lost my hope, forgot my purpose,
My ambition fades into the distance.
Was filled with hope, was self caring,
Use to be happy now I’m not.
Joy on the outside as well as security,
But on the inside sadness and doubt.
Forgot my being, lost myself,
Not sure who I’m meant to be.
I care about you, do you care about me?
If you do, I don’t feel it.
Acting differently from myself,
There’s an explanation for everyone’s doings.
We all have selfishness in our lives,
Without it we wouldn’t be able to prosper.
We give to the world what does it give us?
Pain, misery, happiness; ups and downs.
Thinking of everyone else, changing myself,
Sometimes we are our own forgotten.
