Watch them flee, as he tears this city apart,
Is he on a rampage, or just searching for his heart?
No one knows, everyone goes, avoiding the carnage in his wake,
Only his rage shows, no one sees the tear flows, just feel the earth’s shake.
Everyone angered and scared, it’s a terrifying monstrosity,
Shock ‘n’ awe they all stared, brought to their knees by sheer ferocity,
Such a shocking new threat, evacuate and avoid the plague,
Understanding won’t be met, the monsters intentions are vague.
Against the attack, he knows what he’s looking for, searches for her,
But this isn’t Hollywood, things never turn out the way they should,
No damsel in distress climbs to the top of the tower,
Dissolving the stress, and rids him of his power.
The cavalry is here, and they brought some heavy gear,
Citizens fear, ‘till it’s shot down and they begin to cheer,
While it dies, staring up at the skies, it resigns the endeavour,
Jetstream flies, it silently cries, to see her one last time, he’ll never.
