Fragile Timetable Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Fragile Timetable

Rating: 5.0

I whisper dawn prayers
To gaze upon your face
In the summer moonlight,
I weep with the birds
Dreaming of your eyes,
I Find treasure in your voice
And God in your heart
But lack of comfort
In the world
When the days are ceaseless
Absent your presence.

We all exist
On a fragile timetable
With the hour unknown
When we return to the universe
Where we began
In a spiritual realm.

I hope for a long night
Of reciting you poems
And singing songs;

Maybe that will happen,
But I fear I’ll never see you again.
