Fragile Wineglass Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Fragile Wineglass

Rating: 5.0

Everyone I know
Is a fragile wineglass
In a lonely, heartbroken woman’s hand
Who is about to faint in overwhelming sadness.

That is why love and compassion is essential
As you walk through this existence:
Everyone is beautiful but faltering
On the weary stairwell of despair.

May your wonderful metaphors grace the pages of poetic history long after you lay your pen down for the last time. Always your friend, Sandra
