I was born to be me.
Perhaps not to be free.
But to live as another
after knowing my mother
was not on, not at all
though I don't have the gall
to be free of me,
or to be me and free.
Born free in the jungle
was a very big bungle.
You can take it from me
I can't bear to be free.
