Be thou the one to beat
Both victory and defeat,
Be free from shackles of the world.
For your self's own good
Cultivate solitude,
Get aloof from noise of this world.
A flower with her own hue,
Cares li'le for dawn's early dew,
Get free from all fashions unfurled.
Said the sun rays that came
Spilling over window frame,
Read us, from mundane news un-bestirred.
To me there's not a doubt
On these war-mongers' clout—
It'd die once weapon's shine's dulled.
This breath helps you live,
And breathless you leave,
The lamp of life's when by Him lulled.

Man needs to slow down sometimes and be in solitude. Amid crazy movement and hectic pursuits, man will be restless. As long as we have breath, we live. But when God calls us to Eternal sleep, we have to leave all our mad pursuits and leave this world. Very profound thoughts and a great write!
