Freedom at midnight 
Wednesday,19th August 2020

Liberty and freedom
both are the reflection of wisdom
that our forefathers embodied in the constitution
it was a great resolve for the nation

not knowing fully well
that it may tell differently 
In India with the infancy stage
and it may distort history on the pages

They misuse democracy to the extent 
that at present 
the politicians roam scot-free
and criminals flee on the parole

even murderers and rapist
insist on the justice 
take the course to the highest court of the land 
and it goes on unending

the terrorists kill innocent
yet attitude remains benevolent 
They kill forces in broad daylight 
fraudsters enjoy freedom with rights
