David your message is loud, clear and precise. My expletives tend to be stronger when describing the futility of war, any war. Well done my friend...

Genuine freedom is a worthiest of causes and many lives have been lost in its defence. Our finest response is to ensure that we fully value what they fought and died for. This is both a rallying cry and also a finely worded lament, as well a plaintive cry for new mechanisms to secure and advance freedom without the tragic cost. Great work David. Important and influential. It connects here and reminds. We remember and we pass it on, bit by bit having had our values refreshed and reinforced. No small service by means of your eloquent pen.
