Friction Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Friction

Love will stand the test of time,
I see so much of you, I hope for a better view,
To get closer to every beat of your heart,
Every thought that crosses the whispers of your lips,
Endlessly,
As this universe just isn't big enough,
How long is time, really,
The reality of the fiction of every thought,
The friction of each breath,
I see so much of you, I hope for a better view,
Endlessly,
In the galaxy of your eyes, the stars couldn't compare,
The alpha of every breath that searches you,
Discovering the new found beauty of holding something never before held,
A dream without bound, with eyes wide open,
Looking deeper into you,
As strength can be found in something so gentle,
Closer than close, as there's no need to look any deeper
