F-riday morn fifth of May
L-ets the new dawn break;
O-bliterating the dusk,
R-eady to let your eyes
A-wake.
M-ay fifth Friday morn
O-pens the day with light;
P-ouring rain disappears,
E-vading the sun so bright.
R-ise of the beacon begins, bringing crimson, not gray;
A-dieu to the Thursday twilight, Friday morn fifth of May.
