From Cherbourg Beach To Lower Normandy….

from Cherbourg Beach
to Basse-Normandy
is a journey apart for our darling Vinhie,

he greets the giving and rendering of the joyful sight of nature
and other unknown personages

we just left the shell, pebbles and qualls
now through unknown small villages
full of children's laughter and tears, caring mothers and loving grandparents,
fathers who are still at work,

we have the chance to see well and to look for a long time,
as we drive at low speed,
we want to look at their joy, laughter sadness and happiness

we hear them very clearly,
it seems like we're amongst them,
but we slowly drive to Basse Normandy
where our pretty village Helleville and home is located
where the trees
are oft green and the bees buzz in the breeze

where loyal Pomme plays with his shadow,
waiting for Vinh's return with sorrow....
