From Dark To Light
From dark to light
Saturday,26th October 2019
It is a festival of lights
where a person removes dirt
not only from the house alone
but internal change is also shown
"Tamso maa jyotirgamay"*
meaning lead me kindly to the light
remain in fray
when prayers are sincerely offered
it is victory over evil
where a person controls
the resolve to move ahead
and his behavior is well-read
you meet all
and give a call
of brotherhood and harmony
so it is called "Dipavali"
it might have changed in spirit
and people are greeted
with expensive gifts
but it has nom shift in the spirit
whether good old days or modern times
we may feel it odd sometimes
the feelings remain the same
as humanity has to claim the right place for us all
