From My Place Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

From My Place

Rating: 3.5

From my place

I am dead
Unknown and unheard
Scores of poems
Love poems and prayers for Him

I shall emerge
From my grave cage
Recite one by one
As I had gone unsung

No matter
What happened later?
My soul hunts
And bears brunt

I roam here and there
Sometimes call beers
Sometimes cuckoo
But restlessly I go

Come in calm and silent nights
I shall present all much to your delight
The one which I did not write
And the one I wanted to ignite
