From The Outside Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

From The Outside

From the inside,
Much easier it is...
To open a closed door.
With it to unlock if wished.
But from the outside,
Knocking on a closed door...
Awaiting for someone to open it,
May take a lifetime for one to learn...
How to approach the unknown,
Without fear to face it alone.
