From The Shades Of Gray

You poured yourself bravely
into my hollow vessel
like an impassioned cascade
of a red wine to my lips
From the shades of gray
a dazzling moon rose
illuminating a field of petals
that were once cowered in the dark
Thank you for being generous
for tipping over and letting it flow
when you could have kept to yourself
cozily, without a drop to lose
