You took me out of my sinful mire
And like gold, purified me with Your Word's fire.

Scraped the dross out of the victim in me,
And made me a victor, Your love set me free.

This clay You have molded from lowly earth,
Blessed me with knowledge of my eternal worth.

You mercy and love were enough reasons
For You to chose me, guide me through life's seasons.

Now I race on forward, focused on this cause:
From victim to victor, I live for Your purpose.
