I do not believe out of fear,
That would never have worked on me.
But my search was very clear
And I found God Almighty.
It was out of pain and distress
That this human heart gave a cry
For great was my soul emptiness
I wanted truth, would not take a lie.
'If you see Me, you will find Me
When you seek Me with all your heart.'
He was not in religion or acts of piety
In my heart, with Him I became a part.
Empty robes, rituals, and doctrines,
These are mere trappings of religion.
To experience God each day is what it means
To have full life and peace - redemption!

A beautiful poem on spirituality. Positive and inspiring. God can only be found in our heart when we seek Him.
