Fugitives Of Love Poem by David Harris

Fugitives Of Love

Rating: 4.9

Some people fear love,
running away when it happens.
They fear they will lose their individuality,
if they hear a beckoning heart call.
So they run to a lonely life,
never knowing the joys to be found,
when someone falls in love with someone.
They miss the bells of heaven,
ringing out on their wedding day.
They miss out on the laugher,
of watching their children,
growing up and at play.
They miss out on so many things,
because they want their individuality,
and little realise that love,
wouldn’t take their individuality away.

David, well my friend you know never truer words spoken, some think love is about loss, oh but it's all about gain, so much to share and be, that sounds like heaven to me...

Words so true, and expressed so very well, David...If 2 people respect each other...their personal identities should never become an issue, at least one that would break a bond of absolute love...TOP MARKS FOR YOU, AS ALWAYS! FjR
