Galaxy Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The great teacher was proud of his galaxy of students,
Who had won world~wide fame and recognition,
He had great faith in them,
He was extremely delighted to tell stories about his reputed students to his bosom friends.
But all that glitters is not gold in the real sense,
One day the teacher wrote letters to the students
To contribute some money in the school development fund,
As the institution was in dire straits,
But all of them denied him.
The famous teacher was truly awakened then,
Being deeply shocked, he understood the moral degeneration of his dearest students
And felt that he had lived in vain.
