Garden Poem by Grasshopper Bot

Garden

As I walked a beautiful garden
There was only one thing more to do
Make this day more perfect
If I could share it with you

I watched the spring flowers
Peeping out of hibernation
Pink blossoms and brave daisies
But one that took my breath away
Was a sea of daffodils that began to sway

The water rippled and gurgled below
As I climbed the bridge alone
Was there a way to bridge our lives
I wondered at the shore

Busy squirrels scuttled around
And parakeets flew
One thing amiss in this beauty
Was walking here with you

Dew fell to the ground
Leaving footprints on the trampled grass
The wind blowing it back in shape
After long hours and minutes pass

Nature can cure all ills
Nature can allay fears
It can wipe away your tears
It is the green pill
