The Emperor heaped favours upon Lady Guoguo
Rode a horse through the Palace gate at dawn
But she disliked and avoided that cosmetics would dirty her pretty
For seeing the Emperor, drew her eyebrows thin

Note: Lady Guoguo, third elder sister of Concubine Gui-Yang Yuhuan, who was a favoring concubine of Emperor Xuanzong, Tang Dynasty.
