Gemini, Gemini Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Gemini, Gemini

Gemini gemini,
don't two stories become one when it's all said and done.
One who caters to the thunder and lightining that sits in their eyes,
without wrath that follows a cool mellow tone that says hello,
the wind knows where it'd rather be,
inhaled and exhaled by you,
the soft lips that bring the sun a tad bit closer each moment that physically equates into the day that's soon to be upon us,
the thunder and lightning that mix into the beautiful pupils that are your eyes,
unable to exit as this place that is found is called home,
a place not forgotten where ever they go,
a combination of strength and will,
touching the lukewarm souls that can't help but smile once greeted, as it comes with no surprise,
a celestrial gathering hinted by the skin you wear inside and out,
Gemini Gemini a tale of two that ventures the same path,
milk and honey that paints the fire hidden with each blink of your eyes,
how night time becomes jealous,
envious of the wind softly sweeping past as it knows the wind has found its home within your lungs,
how its passing prayer is that it finds its way back to its presence knowing that prayer won't be answered,
a biblical text known by the eyes that seek,
Gemini Gemini the stories told by your eyes,
the soft lips that you harbor your grin, treasures either worldly or unworldly, they seek truths found in your heart as hearts aren't never drawn the way we thought back in kindergarden
