Genes Of Previous Generations Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Genes Of Previous Generations

Life standing before each of us from the moment we're
conceived and born into this world, everything brand
new, even seeing our parents, brothers or sisters.

For the first time ever, only having heard their voices
while in their mother's wombs for nine months or so, a
comfortable, warm, cozy place where life takes place.

Growing into a human being, genes of all generations
before them now existing within them totally, setting
their presence in time.

A wonderful way to start an earthly life, as morning
breaks into a birthday when anyone is born into this
world, a special occasion in every parent's life.

Looking forward to their child's birth, seeing their
face, holding their fragile little beings that all of
a sudden need to be taken care of.

Loved unconditionally, teaching them as they grow,
nurturing everything good for them to be a part of the
goodness and kindness that's been instilled within
their little hearts and spirits by their parents.
