Getting In The Queue Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Getting In The Queue

Rating: 5.0

Take any happy minute
All life is grand and right
Then BANG..you're not in it
All birds have taken flight

The thought process is severed
A hatchet to the spine
A change of crazy weather
No clinging to the vine

You could of...Maybe...Instead
If only you had known
Life gives you a spider thread
When the cobweb is blown.

Flows tremendously. Destruction of illusion also resounds
