Gggrrrrrr! ! Poem by Fay Slimm

Gggrrrrrr! !

Rating: 5.0

Why is it
......that underneath
................................. blue,
The expanse
.......... of which covers
................................ vaults
From east to west
................ of summer
................................... sky,
The like of clouds
......... dare approach
................................... too
Near the sun,
.................... line up
....................... undaunted
And hide
..............its shine
.................... so spitefully?

Clouds too want to warm their faces After roaming around in so many strange places The sun can thus rainbows bring And rainbows are such a lovely thing!

When all above, is painted blue, a white fluffy cloud, bids me adieu for in its form, i clearly see, the passing! to eternity a face, a dog, a teddy bear, i see faces everywhere one last look before they depart, this truly is, a work of art

Enticing title, great shape - your poem captures those blocked-out-sun feelings perfectly. S :)

The skies can evoke so much feeling in people...the grey of sadder days...the clouds that form the shapes of our imagination...the colours of summer blue....bring song to all hearts...a brilliant piece again Fay....well expressed 10+++
