Girl Of The City Poem by Aman Saa

Girl Of The City

Rating: 5.0

Girl of the city

What do you see in the girl of the city?
Melodious intelligence or a riding scooty
metro folklore of dawn to dusk
or even more up to the last.
Playing with the rise and fall
of the thoughts of heart
as the skyscraper
now and then kids with the sky so vast
holding drops of life safely
as provisions for defeats in the hands of hours
coming now and then as passerby of the foot path
Flying like there is everything beyond
these valleys which you can see but yet not see,
like sketches of dreams,
a flower bouquet or a stolen sight of beauty
a song of enchanting violin
or be it just an online chatting
What do you see in the girl of the city?
A storehouse of sections or just a lovely lady
Overpowered with wit and excel
but such is the description
that words rarely accompany
A furious dedication or an indulgence
of pencil and paper
standing always nearest
in the never ending queue of alternatives.
What do you see?
Music incomprehensive to the theoretic
or simply a story of drenched street lights
whispering life into birth of drops rainy
or child ready to sail paper boats in the thrill
of a birthday in a city beside a flash floods agony
Like a kite symbolising the noon's leisure
And the string's energetic sculpture in the unseen air
Amidst all the coming and going of tiresome
There goes the girl of the city, a feminine idol
Leaving you in a festive wonder
What do you see?
