Girl With Red Hair Poem by Paula Glynn

Girl With Red Hair

Sydney Bristow travelling to Taiwan
On a top secret government mission
Doing classified undercover work
Hoping to steal technology for SD6
The organisation that betrayed her
The organisation that murdered her fiancé.

SD6 coming after Sydney Bristow with guns
After a few months of refusing to return
The woman quickly realizing her mistake
When her father Jack Bristow does increase the stakes
Telling her who she is really working for
Sydney Bristow knowing she has to do more.

Sydney Bristow dyeing her regular brown hair
A bob length bright red colour
Amy Tippins - a friend's sister- passport photo
Taking her incognito through to Taiwan
The airport - letting her through - none the wiser
Sydney Bristow doing important classified work.

Going onto stealing an expensive black car
Knowing she'll reach her goal and get far
Breaking into a building at nighttime
She had previously scoped during a party
When with Dixon a few months before
Now needing to gain much more.

Unfortunately being eventually caught
The clever Chinese man wanting to know
Why she is there with her bright red hair
Having teeth pulled out now needing to shout
But Sydney Bristow does flip the chair
Turn the tables and aggressively stare.

Needing SD6 to trust her again
She follows through on her mission
Contacting the real CIA on her return to America
The government organisation she had believed
She was part of before her fiancé Danny was murdered
The man she hates - Sloan - her deadly enemy.

Completing her top secret mission
Sydney Bristow makes new connections
Namely with the CIA operative Michael Vaughn
A man she is right to grow to trust
Even having a relationship and feelings of lust
For Sydney Bristow has red hair and real guts.
