Earnestly I seek you and trust in you.
My flesh faints for you
and my heart pines for you.
I love you above all things.
Where are you, my God?
My whole being longs for you.
Lord have your way in me.
I am ready to submit myself
to your most holy will.
Give me a sunbeam to warm me today.
a moonbeam to charm me at night.
Give me the laughter of an angel
when I am in trouble and in tears.
Interesting write. Beautiful poem. I quote.... Give me the laughter of an angel when I am in trouble and in tears. Thanks for sharing.
Tony, I read this morning—what this reminds me of—refresh us like torrents in the desert. Not just a trickle or a sprinkling but a torrent. -Glen

Sigh, thank you for sharing this outstanding piece, yes, dependence indeed, your poem makes me aware that we ask the God(s) so many things we already have and we look for the God outside when probably we may carry him in the marrows of our bones and each of our body's cell for as long as we are alive, through love. Hahaha, who would not love an angel's laugther if we are sad and having trouble?
