Give The Tourist A Break Poem by David Darbyshire

Give The Tourist A Break

Rating: 4.5

Were I was going I didn't know
In my hurry, I stubbed my Toe
Still in the black, as were to go
Now walking with a limp, very slow

To get from A to B,
is not always easy you see
cause in a strange city or place
You feel like your from outer space

No thanks to the human race
to make you feel at home
Instead of helping you with directions
there more worried about getting infections

So I say, 'give the tourist a break'
they can easily make a mistake
cause normally no one gives a toss
when someone seems to be lost
