Give Up All Deeds Of Evil Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Give Up All Deeds Of Evil

Keep it real.
The truth to speak it.
Keep it real to feel.
Keep it real.
An honesty.
Give up all deeds of evil.
Don't feed those demons to please.

Started tits for tats to chat.
Only returns an anger back.
Started arguments just to do.
Proves a fool with this to choose.
Has a screw or two that's loose.
Wishing to get their craze approved.
And seeking to get attention too.

Leave it left to leave.
Don't condone it as your own.
Leave it left to leave.
And...
Don't allow it in your home.
To believe you'll be left alone.

Craze seeks company.
Leave it where it is to leave.
A craze seeks it to feed,
To others who'll return it back.
With venom to spew and lips to smack.
Know that.
Don't become entrapped.

Keep it real.
The truth to speak it.
Keep it real to feel.
Keep it real.
Honesty.
Keep your mind from becoming ill.
By demons on the prowl.
Looking for bait,
To make you hate.
Those demons on the prowl.
Look for bait.

Demons on the prowl.
Looking for bait,
To make you hate.

Those demons are on the prowl,
Looking for bait.
With a taste for hatred.

Keep it real.
To feel.
Your faith!
And not to fake it.
