Glacier Bay Poem by Larry Schreckengost

Glacier Bay

Sea otters float this bay
Past mountains draped in fog
Silver clouds kneel to greet us
Where ice runs fast like dog
Beneath her opal water
Whales composing song
Above emerald laden cliffs
The eagle glides along
I don't believe she noticed
Me passing through today
But with the grace of time
I shall not forget this bay
