Glorified Death Poem by Minx Videsben

Glorified Death

Rating: 5.0

A goddess

With long silk hair

A white dress that drapes all over her

And a crown of golden flowers wraps around her temple

She walks through a garden

And stands in a fountain

She lets the water run over her

As she takes the pocket knife she stole

She writes a long line down her wrist

A cut, that opens her skin

Her tears flow, they sparkle like salted water

The noises she makes from her sobs sound breathless
and effortless

But from the cuts on her wrists

She bleeds

Gold

She drops in the water

As the fountain fills with gold

Nobody runs to her

Or tries to help her

They just watch

As the gold overflows

And her minds empties

She bleeds Gold A terrible poem . But as a poet your description and the visual details of an imaginative mind is marvellous. Thank you for this poem.
