She felt sorry watching their life trip,
When it was clearly an abusive relationship,
She could not watch him force it anymore,
She could see him trying to find the door,

She was his friend of many years,
Who would listen to him when he was in tears,
She watched him break while building him up again,
She watched every moment of him crying in pain,

She loved him so much yet he was with another,
She wished they broke up so she and him could be together,
He was suffering the abuse of his possessive girlfriend,
Clingy and materialistic needs that had no end,

Always worrying about her image without his interest in mind,
But soon enough his heart would seek a different love to find,
She advised him each day to leave that girl,
But to him his girlfriend was his world,

But as the days went on he realised he deserved better,
He decided that he does not want to live with such torture,
Soon he decided to break up with her,
And move on to his friend that always held him dear,

The woman that was there for him in his ups and downs
The woman that would carry him up despite his crying sounds,
She kissed him under the moonlight on the garden floor,
Just goes to how that even with a goal keeper you can still score.
