God Made You Poem by Randy McClave

God Made You

God, why did you make me so short,
The timid man did sincerely ask
It made my life seemingly a harder task,
So, many roads I had to abort.
God said, "there was a reason that I made you petite",
"So, it would be easier for you to help and greet".

God, why did you make me so tall,
The tall man then nervously asked
People have stared and pointed at me when I passed,
How I wished that I was small.
God replied, "I made you tall so that you could reach",
"And also for you to see others and teach".

God, why did you make me so large,
Spoke the heavy man with a saddened moan
Why did you do that to my hormone,
With this body why did you design me like a barge.
God spoke, "when people are afraid and know not what to do"
"Seeing you, they'll know their problems aren't as big as compared to you".

God, why did you make my mind so slow,
Spoke the man with a passive mind
Many times I was sadly ignored and left behind,
Many places I couldn't go.
God uttered, "I say this with with joy in my eyes"
"You are really a helping Angel in disguise".

God, why did you make me the way that I am,
As I looked at my own self in my mirror
I still see sadness and hurt and another tear,
And I think that no one ever gives a damn.
God whispered, "I deliberately gave you that pain",
"So, unto others your hurt and sadness you could help and explain".

(God never, ever makes mistakes,
He created each one of us with a careful thought
So, our true destiny is always there to be sought,
And God never, ever lies or forsakes.
God smiled and as aforementioned with his loving glory,
God wrote, "l have already written your quest and story") .
