What a gloriously happy poem. I find myself waltzing to your words (I think they're written in anapaestic tetrameter are they not?) . My favorite line would have to be 'Her houses a paint-box of colour this day.' I envy your comfortableness with traditional poetic form, Andrew. It's quite a gift. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

The phrase ‘houses a color box of paints this day’ is excellent...displays a pair of observing poetic eyes...again the line ‘these riches shall always be mine’ exhibits a nature loving poetic mind...beautiful piece, Andrew...good poetry just flows out of your mind...10+

Simply soaring high to sublimity it seems for you in Nature! Indeed it is a wonderful and simple poem coming from the heart. Nice!
