Golden Silver Dust Magical Wanderlust Part Three Poem by G J Salgado

Golden Silver Dust Magical Wanderlust Part Three

Rating: 5.0

She tried to fly as she searched for her wings
She's young and beautiful, she's everything
She is everything that she's ever wanted and she has you right where she wants you
She is going to own you for the rest of your life
She owns every last ounce of who you once were
Even after you take your very last breath
Even more so when you meet her in death
She's always been exactly where she wants to be
Because your life was always within her grasp
You forfeited all of your rights the day you met
The day you laid your eyes upon her was your last

She had nothing in life and was betrayed in death
They stripped everything from her including her own regret
When she was alive she felt free
She was young and beautiful, filled with life and dreams

Being graceful with her passions, so she had thought to herself
Made for an artist who had many secrets to tell

Love, passion, lies and murder all made such great stories
She hurriedly wrote them all down in her notebook
Some took seconds to write and others would be her lifetime glories
Her life's work locked away in hopes of publishing a miraculous book

To her, life stood still in her own mind
Living upon all the words that she rhymed
Every moment spent was without time
Until hours turned to years she soon would find

The years and the world seemed to pass her by
Everything left unravelled, unwanted, unsaid
But it wasn't by her own hand because she truly tried
Being scorned, mocked and left for dead
With all of these taken she asked the world why

Why does the Earth deny her heart's Magical Wanderlust
When the moon accepts her, giving her Golden Silver Dust

All the time spent on the meaning of the pages
The words spoke to her clearly
While she listened through the ages
The voices in her head also spoke loudly

But they forgot to tell her as she finally opened the door
Is that death was knocking as they wrote her own murder

I just lost my comment on part three. It was ready to SEND when Whooosh it was gone! So this will be an inadequate reconstruction of this crucial segment of your narrative: The moon has given her the gift of GOLDEN SILVER DUST (both precious metals united!) but earth withholds its potential gift of MAGICAL WANDERLUST. It appears she needs both to be complete. W also learn she is an artist, a writer uniquely gifted, who carries within her being A MIRACULOUS BOOK, but its creation is stalled. It remains only a possibility. And betrayals in the past darken her present.
