Golden Silver Dust Magical Wanderlust Part Two Poem by G J Salgado

Golden Silver Dust Magical Wanderlust Part Two

Rating: 5.0

She lights up the stage as she enters the room
She sees as they look and what they assume
It humors her what they always consume
She's magic, she's beautiful, she's the moon

She's gonna make you feel bright,
She's gonna make you feel shiny & new
Like bats in the night
Wings, dreams, diamonds too
Together we can make it rain
Make you feel crazy inside... insane
She can make it snow from the glow in your eyes
She is the mask of your own disguise

Silver bullets in the sky,
Never feeling the moment when we both died,
Shattered glitter moonlight,

See the stars,
Feel the moon on your skin
She's standing on the edge of the rest of her life
Lost in the dreams that create the night
She sees what the night watchers reveal
But she cannot believe in what makes them real
Taking the innocent beyond her own control
Collecting the tokens that they wish to steal

Unleashing things she doesn't understand
Craving the blood on their unwashed hands
City of darkness, City of Angels,
The world won't know her secrets,
It's between her and the Moon
Soon they'll be no one to tell their secrets to
They'll never know us like we do

Her words have power and her words hurt
Never knowing which way to turn
It's not her fault if you are crazy
Who's the one to blame anyway
Here she is once again in the hot seat
With her right beneath me
Feel the noose as it grips tight
Slits her wrists because it feels right

She's not resisting
She doesn't understand what it is that she is meant to do
She feels the moment in time of what she is becoming
Yet these are the things that she cannot do
How did she get there from here
When she knows her place isn't anywhere
From where she has come... from the moon

SHE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT SHE'S MEANT TO DO and SHE'S STANDING ON THE EDGE OF THE REST OF HER LIFE: both of these lines confirm my impression from part one that she is at a threshold and once she crosses it, her life will enter a new phase. What that will be is not clear to her, and so not to me. B-U-T she seems to be deeply connected to natural things, perhaps on the intuitive level she has what most humans have lost, a deep rapport with the energies of life, a non-verbal understanding of things mist of us are unaware of. We can ENJOY a beautiful day with its nice weather; she draws personal strength from that beauty.
