Good Intentions Poem by David Harris

Good Intentions

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes we avoid telling someone,
something that might worry them.
We want to spare them worrying,
as we feel that might be better.
The problem is it hurts them more,
when they eventually find out,
what was done with good intentions.

You do right my friend, some people are better off not knowing the truth, they would worry themselves to death about you, they may feel hurt but it's better than them going through so much worry...10

The message I take from this is that if you do what in your heart you believe is the right thing to do or not do for another than you are doing what's best. If you go with your heart, you can't go wrong...Is that not what so many of your words have taught us here about love and caring for others.? ? ...Guess only one can judge any of us in the end and good intentions are OFTEN not taken as such, and then it's best to have not stepped in.. Great, intellectual write David.........love, marci.xo

I totally understand what you're saying here, sometimes good intentions come across as bad deceptions. I like what you put into words here, hope you are feeling better David. HG: -) xx
