Grateful Dead Poem by Adryan Barnathan

Grateful Dead

Put me into the ground, I want to play in the dirt
Everyone, everything has become, more than enough.

Papers and numbers and i's without dots, it's no fun anymore.
I'm dying to meet all the celebrities and the ones that I love and adore.

Got friends in high places whose souls are the faces of the ones I used to know.
I really love flying so I don't mind dying, may the wind blow wherever I go.

Put me into the ground, so I can play in the dirt
Everyone, everything has become, more than enough.

Feel light as a feather, cause there's always good weather.
Lifting up, here I go.
Just think of a place, watch the scenery change, it's that easy to do.

No more doctors appointments or tax mans annoyances, think I'll be a cloud today.
Watch the airplanes go by, while I'm getting high. If you're on there, I'll waive to you.

Put me under the ground, where I can play in the dirt.
Cause, everyone, everywhere, everything has become,
more than enough.
