Great changes in the environment occuring climate change for all to see
The old creek from the mountain that flowed to the river to the sea
For some time has not been flowing it's pebbly bed bone dry
The great impact of climate change on the natural landscape only fools would deny
For far too many years we have ignored what environmental scientists have said
That for the young people of the future tough times may be ahead
With scarcity of water caused by constant droughts less food crops to be grown
The seeds of our own karma perhaps we may have sown
This Planet for us to live in not for to defoilate
Yet the lives of greedy people we choose to celebrate
Oil barons and wealthy developers this Planet Earth destroy
Yet the status of celebrity these people do enjoy
The huge amounts of carbon emissions caused by us which leads to climate change and drought
This thing called Global Warming has hurried on no doubt.
