Great is her day, each day
That we realize as heaven,
When in a banyan leaf
She offers a banyan fruit
Well ripened and sweetly tasted,
And a deep dark ant runs towards,
We feel her love's attraction,
Great is Mother Nature,
Who preserves food for all!
Looking at the banyan fruit,
The ant thinks it to take
Carrying in a ferrying straw,
To serve all the children ants,
Duty is not forgotten at all,
Mother and child can understand!
A ruptured purple yellow sweetness,
It has attracted the dark ant
All over sandy shore under a tree,
Digging many holes at a time,
The ant is planning to preserve fruit,
Food given by mother is nectar,
Her nourishment can be noted!
The banyan leaf has kept rain water
As this will be drunk by the ant,
To remember the Mother's Day so far
In a dignified beauty of Mother's love,
The dark ant is saying in sweet tune,
"Namaste, Mother Nature, hello Mom, "
Great is Mother Nature, great is her day!

A nice observation and a nice analysis of the Banyan tree...a highly laudable imagination on ants, the banyan leaf and its fruit...Banyan tree is one of the sacred trees of India for its medicinal properties too....a beautiful tribute to the banyan tree- 10
