Great journey
as blessed by an almighty
life has flowed like a river water
making me happier day by day
entering the 75th year
those gone years remained so dear
memorable and unforgettable
and made me work hard with the struggle
life was no easy
and it kept me busy
As a soldier. Farmer and now poet.
it did not allow to remain quiet
I witnessed my father's death
mother's last breath
then wife's sudden departure
it has made me fully aware
each day is a birthday
it is showing me a way
how to stay comfortable and happy!
life is a bed of roses and remains exemplary
I pet my shoulder
and urge looking after well
serve the nation and literature
if that makes sure
survival is not a difficult
if you have strength inbuilt
the willpower to face
and courage to show love's traces
