Greatest Gift - Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

G-reatest gift of all
E-ndorses true salvation;
N-either eye will turn blind,
E-arly twenty-sixth of June.

D-on't let it slip away,
E-vade the devil's arm;
L-ife eternal is at stake,
A-im to be safe from harm.

C-herish the love of God,
R-efrain from spiritual rift;
U-se the holy temple,
Z-one of greatest gift.

    You did well with this acrostic, and more of the lines carry this out. There are, however one or two lines that coulc stand some improvemet, but the overall effect of the poem and the masage it sends are good.
