Reflections of such heraldic symbolism can ONLY hang from the Top Shelf - but there is no winsome mythology about the Hard Life alluded to. Ted manages to mix his metaphors exquisitely but sensitively - and still produces a down-to-earth homily of good reading. Rgds, Ivan
