Green Hole At The Middle Of Black Society Poem by Abby Bilan

Green Hole At The Middle Of Black Society

Rating: 4.3

The girl in green,
is what I`ve seen.
Walking along the road,
Helping a lady with her load.
And take her to the other side.
She has the pride!

Girl Scouts of the Philippines,
Are helpful ever since.
They give courage
To those with age.
Not just activities they face
But they help with grace.

They give honor to their country,
Without wishing for bounty.
To her nation she gives respect
But the prize she might get, she neglect.

To the Philippines, she gives importance,
For she has given the chance
And they are important
Not just they want
But the way they grant.
And they are always in front.
The way we are hopeful
Is the way they are helpful.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I've written this poem when I was in Grade 6,11 years of age, and was an activity for us...writing a poem about your gratitude for scouts. I wish that this will inspire you to also be grateful for the Girl Scouts of the Philippines.

As a student of grade-6, I must say that you had written a good poem. You can genuinely take pride in being yourself 'a girl in the green'.
