C-old chill of the night
H-as turned into new morn;
E-leventh day October breaks,
R-aindrops are getting worn.
R-ise of the sun begins,
E-arly light shines so bright;
K-ind weather causes mirth,
A-s dawn sets things aright.
B-ehold the burning beacon,
E-ither eye sees the view;
L-et your smile show the joy,
G-reet the morn
A-new.
