Greeting Card Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Greeting Card

Rating: 5.0

A-ccept my greeting card
S-ent to you in pure delight;
U-nusual mirth is brought,
N-ice words set things aright.
C-herish my greeting card,
I-mmeasurable joy is caused;
O-pen your heart to gladness,
N-ever let pleasure get lost.

A-ccept my greeting card,
L-et it be held by your hand;
A-ugust fifteenth early morn,
R-apture you'll understand.
I-'ll deliver my greeting card, creating a thousand thrill;
N-othing can take away warmth, neither night nor cold chill.

Z-one of mess and muss lair
A-re nowhere to be found;
F-ill your life with sheer zest,
E-cstasy and merry-go-round.
I-t's indeed good to accept,
R-eceiving my greeting card;
K-ind, sweet and better wish
O-ffers feeling not that hard.
P-riceless excitement
O-f emotion is manifest;
U-nder the wide blue sky,
L-ife is far from mare's nest.
O-nly I'm so eager to say my hello and best regard;
U-sing the right time and place, I finally forward my greeting card.
