Grieving A Road Kill (Senryu) Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

Grieving A Road Kill (Senryu)

Rating: 5.0

Suddenly, I grieve
Because, I cause a road kill
On street of Annville.

In middle of street
A squirrel runs in panic
Right into my wheels.

I want to save it
But, many cars follow me
I can't stop safely.

So sorry, squirrel!
On this Saturday Spring morn
Your lost life I mourn.
