May be You made me a tree,
I served as a real Karmayogi
to provide food, fodder,
furnitures, air, water and
medicines for free.
May be you made me a fish,
an amphibian, a reptile and a bird,
I accomplished my duty
to act as per your wish.
May be you made me a mammal
other than man,
I performed to carry out
Your purpose and intention.
When I was born a human,
I failed utterly to
achieve Your mission.
You blessed me with the clean
body and the best brain,
but I forgot Your spirit of
meliorism and remained
engrossed in polluting
and ruining Your
beautiful creation.
O' Lord, how can I face You
with unclean and stained
combination?
I feel guilty and
ashamed of my actions.
